Mom and me.

This is Charles' and my Mom. She and Pop moved to Alaska to homestead before statehood. After Pop's death, Mom moved south. She loves to travel and presently lives in Southern California. Mom has many talents. She is an artist. She paints with oil colors, acrylics, has designed her own clothes, and is a beautician. Yes, this is a recent picture, and no, nobody ever believes she's old enough to be my Mom. One time I took her down to Sears to buy her a microwave oven. I asked the clerk, "Can my Mom bring this back here if she has any problems with it?" She asked, "Is your Mom infirm?" "No," I replied. "This is my Mom." She thought she was my wife! I went right home and shaved off my mustache. |
